My Apple

This labor day weekend we decided to head to Hendersonville and visit a U-Pick apple farm. I chose the Stepp Farm's Hillcrest Orchard because of the family heritage and because it was an actual farm and not just a grove of 10 trees. It turned out to be fantastic. In fact I bought one of the old fashioned apple peelers that puts the apple sideways and you use a hand crank to turn. It is simply amazing how easily it worked. Peel, slice and core the apple in about 1 minute.

So here is a picture of Zach showing off one of his apple picks, while Sophia sits on the picnic bench looking on.
