Seth's birthday (2)

Seth turned 2 so here is our home birthday party just after getting his hair cut, the ladies at the restaurant in Williamsburg thought "she" looked pretty. To mom's dismay the locks had to be cut. He got a truck book, a bedtime book and then this GI Joe 4-wheeler. I finally caught him on tape saying Yeah Baby. You can also catch No and Stop which are far more common.

Enjoy,

Taszl Dad.

Carnivore

Do you remember the post about how Zach loves milk? Well the other day we are eating some chicken wings and Sophia has her head down rather intently and she starts pulling at something. I realize quickly that it is a chicken hair or remnant of a feather and begin to worry about telling her that yes this was once a chicken you see running around, but she speaks first.
Hey Dad, is this where the chicken wing used to be?
pause
Yes Sophia it is
waiting...
Oh cool, and she proceeds to take a large bite and then turns to Zach and says hey check this out, this is where his feathers used to be, another big bite.

Like mother like daughter - meat and potatoes (oh and Soda and Candy too)

Happy New Year

Haven't updated in awhile. Facebook has taken over my computer time. It's so addicting. Anywho - I will do better in 2009:) Here are some recent photos of the kids:

Zach - Just being silly...the norm at our house.
Sophia - looking ever so old to me. I can't believe she is almost seven. Where did the time go.

Seth - giving me his cheesy smile while sitting on the couch with popcorn and wacthing a movie. He's is growing up so fast.

Merry Christmas

This was the first Christmas with Allison's Mom and Dad in their new home. We moved them out there during the past 2 months and we were able to get them a house occupied by one of her mom's brothers (from the first mom who passed away and her dad remarried and had her mom and sister). The house was across the street from the house she grew up in and that Allison's middle brother bought when the grandmother passed away. The house is a bit smaller but adequate for them. The nice thing is that it is a ranch style and it already feels like their house (to us at least). We went over for lunch and then everyone came over for dinner. The weather was beautiful, Zach and I played baseball with his new wooden bat (it is sad that you can't buy them in a sporting good store anymore) and Seth ran around the yard getting dirty. Later I was able to take a cup of coffee and sit out on the picnic bench reading, it was a beautifully warm day. I love being out there because everyone has such large lots of land that there is a sense of privacy and a quiet calm.

Mobility

Yep, that's right. The little man is up, walking and loving it.
