How many?

I tried to get a picture of this but as you read on you will see why it is impossible.

Cutting teeth -

Sophia - Allison's high tolerance for pain, the teeth came in real early (6 months I think) and pretty easy. She has already lost 3 and about to lose at least one more.

Zachary - He doesn't share the high tolerance for pain but he wasn't horrible and the teeth came in slow, like 2 weeks at a time. Overall it wasn't horrible but definitely it was a long process. No teeth lost yet.

Seth - like Sophia they have come early, but unlike Sophia he got his first 2 at the same time, bottom 2 teeth. Like Zachary they took about 1-2 weeks to come in and unlike both of them he has no tolerance at all for the pain, although a walk in the stroller tends to be a good soother. So Seth is getting new teeth, and yes that is plural, in fact the boy is cutting 4 teeth at once, yeah you read the right 4. The two outside the two on the bottom and 2 up top. This is week 3 and I was on a trip during week 2, I don't know how he or Allison lived through that.

Ever try to get a 9 month old to give a big open mouth smile so you can take a picture of his gums, close up? Don't bother.

Weekend in the moutains

So we took Sophia and Zach to the mountains this past weekend. Mom and Dad watched Seth for us so we wouldn't have to stop for naps and such. We stayed at the Mast Farm Inn, where they upgraded us to the larger cottage with the Hot Pool as the kids like to call it. We took the kids to where we got engaged and spent the afternoon walking around Blowing Rock. It was so nice to get away from Charlotte for awhile and enjoy the beautiful mountain weather. http://mastfarm.net/
