Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year had a slight twist to the normal pattern. We have for the past 4 years or so met at one family member's house to celebrate Thanksgiving (thanks Dan for the original suggestion). Dad generously arranged for a place at Hilton Head for everyone to come together. It was great, 6 bedrooms to allow for each family a room for the adults and another for the kids. The original goal of letting Sophia and Kate sleep together and Zack and Jack together fell apart pretty quick. It seemed that brother and sister was a better approach, mostly to allow mom and dad to tend to their kid and not disturb the other ones.

The trip was as I hoped, a time to spend with family and enjoy the time away. The most enjoyable piece of the trip was for the kids to get to play with their cousins and get along. Thankfully our kids are really the same ages and same sex so they like all the same things.
